Dokia

 

Dokia is a 2D platformer prototype developed in collaboration with Alex Tutea. We aimed to create a unique experience, drawing inspiration from Romanian folk tales and culture.

I wanted to explore a simple yet striking visual style while considering a modular and reusable approach to 2D game asset creation. Taking the short timeframe of only four weeks available for completing the prototype, there is a lot of room for improvement and polish.

Borderdroid

 

As humanity destroys their current home planet, you, a tiny space-traveling bot, are their last hope to find a new home planet to inhabit. This wonky walking simulator invites you to explore a slice from one of the planets you encounter on your quest.

With only a three-day timeframe to put together this prototype and little coding experience, it was a really challenging feat.
